    Im not too sure about 'visibility:hidden' but i know that Google doesn't like 'display: none' so with them being pretty much the same thing im sure they wont be too happy about it ... although i could be wrong ;)

    depends on the amount of your hidden text, and the position.. if it looks like menu, should be ok.
