Do you want a real review of it? It was a horrible piece with a stupid plot, poor acting and a rediculous core concept. I had to turn it off because it just got too stupid to deal with any longer. When the plant is more intelligent than the people, you know you've gone wrong somewhere. In other words, I would avoid this movie at all costs. Go see Hellboy II instead, it was quite a lot of fun.

Also, the last movie I watched was The Fifth Element. It's up on Hulu.com for free, and is one of the best sci-fi flicks ever :) Outside of actual movies I've been watchin Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog, repeatedly since yesterday. Joss Wheadon is brilliant and Neil Patrick Harris, Nathan Fillion and Felicia Day all put in great fun performances. I can't wait for the other two parts this week.

well I can give my review of The Ruins now.

It was gorey, which was awesome. considering the real lack of locations used I was impressed.

In a way it was similar to Open Water and Open Water 2. The real terror doesn't come from an enemy (although it certainly does in this movie) but it more comes from "well we're stuck in this situation, what the hell do we do now?" and there doesn't seem to be any escape from their inevitable fate.

    I say watch it.

I just watched "Forgetting Sarah Marshall" and it was actually one of the best films i've ever seen.
I wasn't expecting that much from it, I was expecting a crappy love story, a kind of chick flick thing, y'know? Oh but i was wrong. It was awesome.
I don't usually like Russell Brand either, but he did bloody great in that film. Kristen Bell doing amazing as usual :p and the other main characters that I don't think i'd seen in films before (maybe I have though), but they did bloody ace.

I'm actually quite shocked at how much I liked that movie...it's weird.

I saw "Time Bandits" - pretty decent for a 1981 fantasy adventure

Be honest. You loved it because it was full of male frontal nudity.

    No.

Them trying to outdo each other at sex was pretty good :p

No, I really did enjoy that film an insane amount, maybe it's just my kind of humour.
