They both work as long as you take a go slow approach and as long as they are only a part of your overall link building strategy ...

Exactly, and they should both not JUST be your link building strategy.

As my sig may suggest I use both. They are both good services in my eyes. If you do not have established sites with a lot of cached pages they are both slow to get start with though.

I do not have any big sites so my vaultage and weight are not impressive but I have seen some results from both systems.

Edit - Added: Something I just tryed out, was using coop to get some new pages indexed. As an expirment I put up a collection of pages at 2 different domains. The content wasn't exactly the same, but it was reasonably close i.e. same keywords and stuff. I pointed a little coop weight at the root of the new content at one domain and not the other. The pages with weight are pulling in MSN results and the domain without weight is doing nothing. The serps are not based on the anchor I used in the coop, just content from the pages themseves.

Hope that made sense. The bottom line is that coop got my pages indexed and into the results faster than they would have without it.

Not exact science but convincing to me. :)

I use both. There are very different from each other.

LV = Long term building, slowlyyyy
COOP = Super fast dangerous boost

They are both needed in the link acquisition equation IMO.

They are tools and have to be learned how to be used in the right way.
