try webmaster tools, and genrate the site map from
    xml-sitemaps.com

and becareful with www or with out www with your domain, then submit it to sitemap tab under your google webmaster tools in sitemap tab, then wait for the OK status from google, and then see the results of sitemap that how many pages indexed by bot.
but the result will take more then 10 days to be appear.

    is it clear?

Are all SE's using the xml sitemap file format to be submitted? How often we should submit the individual sitemap to SEs?

For blogger you can use atom.xml.

You can't use xml-sitemaps as far as i am aware because you can't upload the content anywhere.

that's how is use to be anyway.

Are Text site maps better or xml sitemaps better? I submitted a text sitemap for my site shugle.com. It got accepted by google and it has started indexing pages from sitemap.

Does using xml does the process faster?
or the text sitemaps are equally effective as that of xml site maps?

You may want to check this article about submitting xml sitemaps using robots.txt and direct submission to some of the larger search engines such as Google. Using robots.txt has the advantage that search engines will discover the sitemap themselves without further work from you.
