Newb Here: Can Godaddy's Linux be used on a Windows OS?

    Opening a new site, and I need PHP which is only offered through linux. Are there drawbacks for operating with a Windows OS? Thanks.

    You can use PHP on Windows, if you get the server with Plesk it would be pre-configured as well, why would you choose a Windows server if you plan on using PHP?
