Get paid to take survey websites?

Discussion in 'General Business' started by netpox, Jul 15, 2008.

I'm doing some research on the get paid to take survey websites. Many of them pay out $1 per sign up and then i guess they make money if people take the offers they provide.

But they say they pay if you take the offer. How can they tell if you took it or not?

The real paid survey sites DO NOT have any offers for you to complete. If a so-called paid survey site tries to sell you anything or get you to sign up for any kind of offer it is not a real paid survey company. Sites like that give the real ones a bad rap.

Try NFO MySurvey, Global Test Market, American Consumer Opinion, Lightspeed - these are real companies that pay you for doing surveys and they do not ask you for a dime.

Yes, i am agree with that.

95% websites are scam in this field. Very few players are legit ones. Dont pay even a single dime. I like the Lightspeed very much

I dont want to take them i was just wondering how they all work. Is it a good business to get into? I currently refer one survey site and they pay me $1 per sign up and i give them good conversions so i was wondering how they are making their money back. So i signed up on their site just to see what its all about and was given like 500 different offers. Each one says if you complete you get paid for it.

One was take a short survey about blockbuster video rentals and then signup for blockbuster's membership and get $20 credit to my account. Then there are other offers that say to sign up and get like $5-$10.

All of the offers are just affiliate links so if i do sign up how can they track that i really did since the offers are not theirs and external sites that they dont have access to.

It is bult into the script that they use. When a member, such as yourself, is logged and you click to complete an offfer an SID is added to the link (dynamically) and that is how they track the leads. They get paid by their affiliate program and then in turn give you part of those earnings.

In reality sites like these are actually an incentive site that is disguised as a paid survey site.

    Hello bagwellsgurl87

First off it is against the rules to post affiliate links

Secondly what you have done here is known as thread hi-jacking (also not allowed)

Third you cannot use html in a forum

That sounds more like a paid per action site that uses CPA ads or programs to earn money. Survey sites only have surveys and pay for sign ups or some pay for each survey a member you reffer takes. If you need more find a cost per action program they have alot of different ones out thier.

If you look at the last few surveys on site below they are survey sites from a CPA site. The rest are regular survey sites and you have to join each one. the Cpa sites you join the one site andpromote mutiple offers.

    surveys that pay.

Back in my college days I was curious about these so called "Paid to take survey" sites. I paid like $25 to join one (I knew it was probably a scam, but wanted to see.) Turns out the $25 just gave me a list of websites that paid you to take surveys. So I spent a couple days filling out my information to see if any of them worked. Turns out that I got my $25 back. There are a few out there that actually do pay. Some even give you money if you refer others. www.greenfieldonline.com is one that actually pays, but they don't pay a lot for the time invested. There is another that pays pretty good (I made $75 on one half hour survey ONCE, and ONLY ONCE), but if you want to know what that site is I'd like to get credit for referring you so PM if you want that link.

Check this site - Earn Money at Home Completely legitimate and honest, nothing to pay, nothing to buy, no "complete these offers", or anything like that. Just real paid survey companies.

And before anyone asks, yes, it is my own website, but it is relevant to this topic and it is real with no scams. NFO, for example is even a member of the BBB as are some of the others. All are well established and pay.

Well I never trust any of these so-called get paid to take survey sites. When I first started going into internet, my initial thought was the idea was really cool. However, after months trying, I can tell you it's a plain waste of time because none actually paid and I don't find that pure coincidence.

Maybe some do, but I feel the return is not worth the time spent on.

Sorry you had bad experiences, but that is simply not true. I have done paid surveys for over 3 years and so have some of my family and friends.

NFO, Global Test Market, Survey Savvy, American Consumer Opinion, PineCone, Lightspeed, Viewpoint and a few others absolutely do pay you. If you dont want to sign up for them on my (or someone elses) site just do a search and you will be able to go directly to them.

If anyone is interested in reading about my personal experiences with paid surveys and how I avoided the scams (there are so many of them it can be difficult to find the real ones) read this --> http://www.californiachronicle.com/articles/51412

Hmmm....Maybe I could try the sites that you've mentioned here. Anyway, does it have any geographical limitation because if I recalled correctly, most of them only accept people from certain countries. I'll sure check out your link... :)

I found a german one where they are paying up to 7€which should be arround 9-10$ for a single survey but I don't like the system of payouts.

does anyone know a site where paypal payouts are possible and you get good money for taking surveys??

That is because there are thousands of scams on the net that promise you big bucks with paid surveys. That is why it is difficult to find the legitimate ones - if you do a search you get all the scams which have been "SEO optimized" to do well in the SERPs.
