Since you owe your thread visits to the owner and moderators of this forum, it's probably best if you start off by being an active member, then you can at least reach the post limit to allow you to post in the services advertising thread.
I agree clive, the only thing I dont think its a good idea for someone to make 25 useless posts just so that can get into the sell section. what you think?
built your reputation first. let people know you. then built relationship and make friends. after then, open proper thread, make good sale.
Show people on DP that you know what you are talking about by answering questions that are about your specific area of expertise. I personally have engaged people on DP for projects based upon seeing them day after day helping others with answers to their questions. After a short time, I realized that a particular poster really knew what s/he was talking about and approached them about working for me.
You might just be missing the point of the 25 minimum posts requirement. That is to allow potential members interested in his sales deals to do a least research on him. You can use a members posts as a starting point when deciding whether to do business with him or not. Useless posts will be a strong sign that one should ignore its author and disconsider any future business with him.
Reputation is very important.. To let people know who are u.. Also try to build web for sales and marketing and promote in DP..
spend your time here on DP taking past in discussions and helping others as much as you can! important points needed are: * Number of posts are important for any business (note that admin will ban you if you try to spam, so do quality work only) * when anyone finds your response useful, he/she may give you some rep! thats important, so be helpful! * once you have some posts, start working in BST forums and work to build up your i-trader points * and the more time you have spent here, more reliable you will be for others
It not tough at DP, but it requires time.... give the proper time. Make a reputation here. Let the people speak about your services. Make some free offer at this initial stage, and ask them for reviews, from this way you may gain some good clients. best of luck
When you have enough post then make in your signature your link to advertise your services. Also search on the forum and see how the people do it that advertise the same services that you do. And see how you can improve the services better than your competition.
