I know the basics of 301 redirects, how to create a redirect from one domain/url to another and such. But my question is: How to find a 301 TO my site? I have a domain/site with PR 5, yes Page Rank 5, domain that is Not indexed in Google with no back links there as well, either from links command or Webmaster tools. It has a few backlinks (~10) on Yahoo that bring minimum traffic (100 visitors a week) since I have not developed or marketed it yet. None of those backlinks have PR so they are not the cause of the PR5 of my site. Site has only 10 pages of content. I have that domain because of the name, bought it about 3 years ago, but the PR 5 remained the same, PR update after PR update, in basically all G datecenters. So, my guess is that some domain that I am not aware of is 301 redirecting TO my site, for free, maybe somebody forgot, but I can not find it. Can I find that site? How? Or if you have any explanation why the site has PR5 with no backlinks, please let me know. But the major question is about the 301 redirection, not pagerank. Thanks.
The first thing I'd do is an exact search with quotes on Google for some text (preferably uniquely identifiable) on the home page and see what comes up.
Thanks but I had done that before on G and... nothing. On Yahoo, just my site and a feed From my site. Still lost.
