Hello guys, i searched lot for PHPlynx Category Dump but ddnt get it other dumps are available on internet (PHPLD, eSyndicat etc) but for PHPlynx , no So here is the PHPlynx Category Dump , Download it (Filetype : csv) (Thanks to Abhishek who wrote sql file for me)
I know only of one Abhishek here at DP forums and this guy tried to pull off a scam for over $100 earlier this year. At his blog, he talks about being a hacker etc etc so on a personal note I would be very careful on what comes from this Abhishek fella! There was a time that the owner of that script intentionally did not provide a category dump. He was encouraging everyone to make their own categories rather than simply copy them and have every other directory with the same categories. I haven't checked, but I'm pretty certain that somewhere on their site is a skeleton category dump now.
There is a phpLynx Regions category dump (to allow you to enable the regional directory settings more easily, obviously) available at phpLynx Templates, there is also another one available which I'm not so sure about, but have bought the Regional version and modified to my needs and can say it works smoothly and does the job perfectly. Though I wouldn't really advise to use the standard category dumps as default - not exactly useful for creating a unique directory @Chetan - Thank you - I will take a look at this new category dump
Hello !! that blog is mine (Abhishek Deshpande) not Abhishek Tripathi's who scamed a lot peoples over DP. For god sake don't make confusion in Name !! Thanks for publicizing that post chetan !! Although script owner want to People to make there own dump This was nothing but a Attempt to save there Time and money( as I have seen some site selling category dump).

The free version of the phplynx script already comes with a category dump as does the full version, Just install the script and select populated categories when installing and the categories will be there for you ready and waiting. thanks aubenrey
Am I missing something here It looked to me that you made the mistake of wrongly assuming who the OP was referring to. Please tell me that's a typo. Category dumps are one thing, but ready- populated I'm sure it would be popular.

Yeah its a typo Steve. It basically means "populate" the blank category table in MySQL with the dump of category names etc.
At long last, a thread about phpLynx where the arguments haven't been caused by those who develop with phpLynx lol
Yeah, indeed. As you're obviously using phpLynx on one of your directories now - you'll see why I like to promote phpLynx over the other scripts at this price level
