If you are serving multiple clients, by far the best way to manage them all is with a google "master account". Give it a quick search on google, it's free and makes managing accounts far easier.

Definitely use a Google My Client Center Account. Then add your clients and give them each their own account. The benefits far outweigh any juggling of accounts - as they are all accessible in the Master Account interface.

You will save yourself some issues with spend limits, money management, keyword duplications, etc by doing it this way. Your goal is to not play bill collector. We charge a fee for PPC management (for our time) and setup an account per client - that we can manage. This means if the client runs out of funds on their credit card (or account), we're not stuck footing the bill.

When you run large dollar volume campaigns, either setting a predefined monthly spend (whereby you collect the money in advance) or an ad hoc spend which is ideal for first 3 months (while you fine tune the PPC campaigns).

Worked for all of our clients thus far. We love the Goog!
