Monetising my Site

    Hi,

I own MostPlays.com which currently generates betweekn 4,000 and 5,000 uniques per day with a few thousand members.

However due to a small amount of adult related games on the site adsense and adbrite don't wish me too use there adverts.

How else can I advertise on the site without creating loads of activex banner adverts etc..

    Many Thanks
    -Dan

You say "small amount" of adult games, do those adult games bring in a disproportionate amount of traffic or do they only bring in a little traffic? If they don't result in any more visitors than any of the non adult games I would say ditch them.

On an unrelated note, do you mind telling me which script the site is using or is it custom built?

Yeh but I don't want adult related adverts on the site because there are a wide variety of users. The problem with removing the adult games is the site has 30,000 games and finding those adult games is quite a challenge.

In that case I would say go through the hassle of identifying them the first time, then implement an approval hold for newly submitted games so you have time to reject a game before it makes it onto the publicly available portion of the site.

You could try advertising an affiliate offer. I'm not sure what would work well with an arcade site but there's got to be something. Netflix maybe?

I think the best thing to do would be to delete all the adult games, even if it will take quite some time, and don't allow any more on the site. Then use adsense.

You might want to consider promoting a make money/work at home type affiliate. Clickbank has a lot of these products to promote. If you have any success with this i would buy Master Rights to an eBook and sell it on your own and get 100% of the profits.
