I know there are often threads to encourage users by posting record earnings... Heck, I have even posted a few in the past. Today however, I want to talk about the downside of affiliate marketing... Mainly the downside of affiliate marketing when you are tired. Basically, last night I accidentally set an adgroup bid to $45.00 instead of $0.45... This campaign has a budget of $7000... So anywho... Let's just say that while my conversions were amazing because my ad position was 1.1, I lost around $3500. Yea... Anywho. That's the downside to affiliate marketing. Thats one hell of a campaign for a daily 7k. Thats why you have to recheck every campaign, specially the huge ones...lol Great blog, great read- thanks!

I did the same mistake with Msn Adcenter, I set the bid to 15 instead of 0.15, I set a daily budget to around 50-60, so I ended up losing about 60$ however,I had used a 50$ voucher, so I just had to pay 10$, I'm really sorry for your loss.. It's gotta suck when you lose that much money
Yeah gotta be careful with the decimal points. That shouldn't be too bad for you though, since you make $170,000 in profits per month.
Hah, I did the same thing last Saturday. I set my bid to $25 instead of .25 and my budget of $300 was gone in a matter of a couple hours and I averaged about $4.50 per click. Sucked because I was testing an offer and only got one conversion out of it
Happened to me once, but with a wayyyyy lower amount! . Wow that really stinks but you must have a good site if you make that much money...good job you will get it back fast but this is a good mistake to read and learn from haha. btw nice blog

I feel bad for you. There was another guy who lost lot of money by putting an incorrect landing page link. We learn from our mistakes.
