I was amazed to see a user who posted that his site was making 100,000 in sales . However in this thread http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=883031 he claimed that he sold it for just 47,000 . Now its a known fact that the least amount a site is sold for is one year's earnings . But that only applies for sites with small earnings. As you see a site making that enough and would be sold between a possible 2-3 times of what it already makes in a year. It makes no sense to sell it for a lower amount . Soon after the sales , he has created a thread to teach people how to make money . Now that seems to be a nice FAKE strategy.
It is Caveat Emptor on the Internet, lots of such cases. Buyers and sellers need to exercise common sense.
