Hi all, Today i'm broking again my $100/day barrier. It's been difficult, but i got it again! Hard work is finally paying off, 2 years after i created this website. Some infos to all newbies out there: - Take care of your site as you take care of a pet or a flower - Keep it into the rules - Work for the long term - Stay out of high price keywords/niche - Think as a non-webmaster would react into your site - Create layouts for non-webmasters react to - Always deliver unique content written by you and... - Optimize your site every week - Discover new longtail keywords every week - Add some more unique content related to those longtail keywords and... - Crosslink some deep pages throughout your site (1 link per month max) - Don't buy 100's links cause if your site is truly important in niche, non-webmasters will link to you, because your site is relevant. This is indeed a great lesson, to all newbies and also to myself: 2 years ago i had 5 posts and was strugling to achieve $1/day... Right now my goal it's to keep my beautiful site above $100/day...! Congrats to me Any questions? Fire away. ....
Because there is so much competition and most users give up after some weeks. Yep, two years to achieve $100/day. But as i went on to a smaller niche i was making some $20-$40/day after 6 months i think. ..
Wow mate, I'm jealous! You don't have to work anymore when you earn that money each month, that's like $3000 a month. Great job! How long did you spend each day on developing your site? And do you think you can duplicate sites like the one you have made now in a shorter period then 2 years with the same result? Greets, Semi
Wow! Congratulations! I'd be happy with $100 a week right now. Most weeks I make less than $5, but I'm really getting into the marketing end now, so hopefully, in another year and a half, I'll be up there too. Actually, hopefully before then.
@ xmartel @ digitalio: @ Semiperfectus: That's not $3000... not even close, but i'll get there. And i cannot duplicate the site because it's his uniqueness that makes it relevant. @ frugalwench: Keep it cool, work hard, and you'll see results. If you have an issue, there is always a DP fellow around with some straight answer.
Congrats. May I ask a question: to achieve that huge amount, how many view impressions and clicks are needed in average?
It doesnt matter. You are looking at it from the wrong perspective. It's not the ammount of clicks you get that matters. What really matters is a site with traffic, and relevant content. This is one of the coolest things about Adsense and almost every newbie doesnt get it.
But finally you need clicks to earn money, don't you? You know, a lot of webmasters here keep complainting high view impressions with low clicks.
That's why i have a site with traffic and relevant content. The niche i work to is what i call a "react" one. They tend to click alot, because they enter the site already with a "react impulse" on their minds. The rest is color theory, ad placement and some other secrets. ...
Congrats, I've gotten over $100 mark at least 5 times. My highest ever was something like $174 in one day. Keep it up!
