Please some body mention if there is any offer running on any registrar for getting a cheap .com for much less. I mean offers like the yahoo domains $1.99 for first year reg.which has ended since long. .coms only and any new registrar would do
name.com - $5.99(first yr.) , godaddy - $6.95/yr are so far cheapest accn to me. I use them but now want somewhere(any new registrar) who take cheaper than them for 1st yr..like any special offer.(Deir is a reason for which i don't wanna invest >$5 for domain 4 this time...) reps given to both of u..thanx 4 replying

You've done the right move, Name.com is the best & cheapest reputable company for new reg or for transfers to them.
I have always used and like godaddy for my domain names that i have... They have awesome site and have always provided me with quick dns transfers so i stick with godaddy for all my domain names
