If you intend on conducting business, then a Premier account would be the one to use. Personal accounts are for "personal" transactions, hence the name.

A premier account would be the right one to have since it's dealing with business transactions.

It's very hard to say which is better...It depends...
Personal account just receive the money from Paypal(cant receive the money from CC),But dont need fees..
Premier account can receive the money from paypal & cc..,But need fees.
U had better create 2 paypal account...one personal, the other premier

Officially speaking, the Personal account cannot be used to collect money for business transactions which includes sales of goods/products and provision of services. The Personal paypal account is supposed to be for customers, people who want to spend on Paypal and not earning a single cent on the internet through paypal.

The Personal account however permits you to sell personal items over ebay which you may not want from time to time and also to receive money from your friends and family which does not amount to a business or for you to make money.

If you provide a service then you are doing a business because you are earning money by doing something. Thus you will need to have at least a premier account for that.

There is no ifs or buts about it. Of course, it may be possible to fly below the radar using a personal account for a while but if you get caught, your account would be limited.

Paypal does not create the option of the Personal and Premier/Business accounts because they want to give you the option to pay fees or not.

Of course, it would certainly be under business purposes.

You cannot set up the donation button option if you do not have a premier/business account. Of course if you are a registered non-profit charity like http://www.kiva.org , you can work with Paypal to get the fees waived on charitable grounds.

Domain names would certain be profit as they are intangible items which do not depreciate especially if you are doing this on a regular basis.

What I mean by selling your unwanted PSP or PS2 which is used and no longer needed it at a discount to the current prices, ie make no profits.

A simple test on whether something would be deem business or non-business would the following :-

    1) Is what you are provide requires you to do some work ?
    2) Is selling items something you regularly do, ie more than 5 transactions a year ?
    3) Are you selling the product/service higher than your cost ?

If any of the answer above is Yes, it is a business.

Just sign up for a Premier account and then include the paypal fees in your pricing to your customer and everyone is happy. At least you would not need to look over your shoulder for the day when your paypal account is limited.

Premier account has more features than personal one but an individual is allowed to open 2accounts - one premier/business and one personal (as far as I know). So, what's the point of analyzing them - get both of them and try them.

Fees is charged in Premier account for receiving payment and fees is not charges in Personal accounts.
