Ok, so there is this guy that where suppose to make me a script for my site. Ive so far payed him $400 for the job and he was suppose to be finished months ago. I'm feed up with the guy now and want to get my money back. However, he doesn't want to return it and neither does he want to finish the script.

He lives in Arizona, US. I payed by paypal and have several mails to prove on our agreement. I live in Norway myself.

Is there anything I can do to get my money back?

What would the police be able to do? The moment you made an agreement, you both entered into a civil agreement and the police will NOT be able to do anything. You can sue him court, however you will spend 10X's that. I would contact paypal and see what they would be able to do. I

Paypal will do nothing! its an electronic good. Read their terms.

Problem is alot of people know this and they scam you! Just got ripped of as well. Paypal is useless. Scammers use this all the time for their personal profit.

Here is my solution for the next time. I will NOT use my paypal account.

When you goto to paypal, don't login. Select pay by credit card. use a card that IS NOT on paypal. Then if you have a problem, you DO have some recourse with the credit card and it does not affect your paypal account.

paypal is owned by ebay, and they could care less! sorry that sounds harsh, but its the way it is!

I'm sorry, but your money, like mine is gone for good!
