Some people have filed disputes. You will not recieve the server until you cancel the dispute. I assure you, paypal will not pay you under an act.

Alot of people say DP is full of scammers and seriously im getting to believe this there is no rights as a user here for not being scammed and the scammer will not even be banned wtf is up with thatÉ

The IP he gave me traces to the iWeb DataCenter in Canada. I'm not sure this is legit.. caution advised.
If someone has infact gotten their server, I'd be more than happy to edit my post.

I have emailed iWeb to figure out what this is all about.

now i see the logs now i believe he`s 100% a scammer he will not give the server before the payment because he will scam you that`s the whole point if he has access to these servers he can clearly take control of these servers if he`s the owner of them if you do not pay

This is true dp is full of alot of scammers, but there are alot of true and honest providers here as well. You must do your research on them before you buy. Check there other threads, there feed back, and google, wait for reviews to come in about the product. Use common sence if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is.

 

+1 i agree 100% this is why i wait and see i never spend my money on a potential scam theres people out there that are cheap and want cheap services but really there is no such thing. sinse in the end you be paying full price

Yeah reforcer no one got the servers you liar. Also, i have spoken to consumer direct, my local police station, my bank and paypal, they all suggested filing a dispute. And as i know i can only do this once. I will not cancel the dispute until i get a refund or a server. Also unblock us and we can work this out, the way which doesn't involve the police tracing your IP. It's happened to me before, so don't say it's not possible.

Seriously, posts like these are obvious scams designed to bilk people of their money. Someone close this thread and ban this guy. He gives a bad name to the legit sellers here.

I've seen scams like this time and time again over the years. The seller makes outrageous claims and too good to be true offers and then collects the cash and disappears.

You are not going to find a $30/mo. dedicated server anywhere, PERIOD! And certainly not one with cPanel, given cPanel (even in volume) costs us, the legit server farms, more than that $30/mo.

I cannot believe people fall for this crap.

It goes above and beyond that. I've been selling dedicated servers for over 11 years now. I can tell you first hand that there is no way, with any type of volume anyone anywhere can sell them that low.

Power, heating/cooling, space, parts, software licensing... Forget about payroll, lights, gas, office supplies, insurance and rent...Just power/cooling/software alone are more than $30/mo.

Also, with a test IP from an Canadian based ISP, it is blatantly evident that this guy is not on the level and these servers are no closer to Iceland than my nuts are to the moon.

There are a hell of a lot of good guys on this forum that have legitimate businesses and offer great service. Posts like this ruin this for those people, as well as the consumers.

In reality, I'm not sure I would even want a client that would fall for something like this. People looking for deals like that almost deserve to get burned.
