Hello everyone, I am just a newbie to Bum Marketing but I was wondering, do you think it would be possible to make a full time income from squidoo lenses, blogger blogs and wordpress blogs?
Yes you sure can CurtisDawson. We use our blog (we have one) to promote our domain names, email marketing service, and California city by city. Sharing what the blog promotes because all businesses offer differant porducts or services. A blog as a stand alone like PPC partner site I do not know, but there are a few of those (and we advertise using these services everyday) you can get paid to blog about companies like ours at Blogvertise.com and PayPerPost.com. So you have a few choices and we are sure other people have even more advise then us. Logic
Just for some inspiration, David Chow (google search him) last month made over 40K+ with his blog. Can you imagine?
If by free blog, you mean not paying for your own domain and hosting, then yes - you can use Blogger or another service. But, the problem you may encounter is being limited in what you are allowed to advertise. The company that is providing the service for free also wants to make money from free blogs and will often require their advertisements to be displayed. There also may be limitations as to what bloggers are allowed to add in the way of affiliate or other types of ads. Lots of people do make money through this type of blogging and this could be a good starting point. Eventually, in my opinion, having your own top-level domain and paid hosting will be necessary if you want to maximize your income possibilities from your blog.
It's possible, but not the best scenario for several reasons, most of which were pointed out by posters above. One problem with using free blogs is that it will be more difficult to create your own unique brand. Plus, as mentioned above, you will be restricted in the type of advertising and maybe even the type of content you can use.
