My ahole of a teacher. How to deal with negative criticism.

He told me I would never be able to make money from an image hosting site.

Well today all my sites crashed because of my image hosting site (bandwidth)! very funny.

Remember - that's why he became a teacher. (used to work on wallstreet)

The OP didn't say the 'net in general, but from image hosting sites. Unique hosting sites have a better chance at making money, since it's easy to find just a basic everyday image host. The "no knowledge" part sounds kind of ignorant, don't you think?

 

That should make you try harder, right?

There are many people that think you are not able to make a living online, although more and more are accepting.

 

Don't let others tell you what you can't do. Even my mentor thought one of my ideas was "weird" with no money to be made..well, I've proved him incorrect. It's hurtful when people who mean a lot to you say stuff like that but..whatever..

 

Do it your own, and dont care what others are shouting at you. People dont understand your ideas all the time. If you have some geniune one.... you must go with that.

This is to add, lots of people are making money.... this is all INTERNET is all about. But all of them are working very vary hard.

 

You have proves on the net that people making huge money on the internet.. what you should do is try harder and create something unique, and do something that your good at and earn good money from it, thats basically it.

You teacher might have said that to make you work harder, which is a great way of motivating someone to do something, after all hes a teacher

 

the teacher is just reducing your competition from within the class. the usual business concepts have changed and your teacher was right several years ago.
