AT & T Natural voice with PHP/Flash

    Is it possible to use AT&T natural voice (or any such high quality speech synthesizer) with PHP/Flash? Does anyone have any idea on how much will be the cost for getting a license for deploying AT&T natural voice on a website?

    Hi,

    Yes it is possible, you could send a string from flash to php, php would then trigger the AT&T engine, have it synthesize and save the string as mp3 then flash would load it as mp3 and play it.

    there used to be a service providing company (sitepal.com) that used that idea with some nice lipsync algo and human characters.

    Thanks for the quick reply wassim. What I would like to know is whether they allow such use.

    I visited Wizzard Softwares website. It says that the cost of deployment is $1500. I hope that is for use in ATM counters and other such uses.
