Redesigning my blog's theme. What do you think?

Hi guys, I just redesigned my blog's theme and would love to know your opinion about it (what things need to be improved, good and bad things, whether the layout is ok on your screen, etc)

Some people seem to hate the 3 columns of 125x125 banner ads.. what do you guys think?

Well, i actually like the 3 column look. It's not the basic template design we almost always see. Be different and creative always works. Your title and slogan could perhaps be centered. Looks like they are aligned left. Maybe try centering them and see if it looks good for you.

I don't really have much more to say about your design. The light color's is easy on the eyes. It's easy to navigate around your blog and you put the sponsored ad section in a important place where it'll get exposed to a lot of folks who first view your blog. Good job on everything.


EDIT: Do you have an "about" page on your blog? I didn't notice one. Perhaps create a special page explaining what your blog is about and your goals...etc (This just a opinion and you can pretend i mentioned nothing)

Snakeair: The about page is there on the navigation (Home, About, .........,Contact). It didn't show up on your screen?

I don't know what else to put on the footer though (at the bottom of the page - the money making recommendation part).. any ideas?

 

I like the layout, text is easy to read, but I think you need a logo because the top right banner add draws my eye and it don't even see your blog title.
Maybe just make your title font larger? because the title font on each of your posts is larger!

 

I like the design actually. I don't even like dark themes that much.

 

I think it is well organized, but a little too busy. You might also want to do a spell check. I found one error as soon as I scrolled down the page in the sentence that read, "How about working in an environtment where" I guess because I am a writer I see those things. So check to see if there are any others. Worse to visit a page where someone spells a word wrong. Otherwise great job.

I'm not sure about the logo as the domain is a personal blog What kind of logo can it be? lol I should have put the tech blog under a different domain than my own name...

Thanks with the spelling feedback. I usually check my grammar and spelling with MS Word. Seems that I've missed that post somehow!

 

The theme is ok, but not unique!

 

Nice blog but take out the top coner ad. Most people will ignor it at first glance to see what you typed. If you can make the ad scrool down with the page that will be good

 

Remove the ad from top right and put it at bottom
other things is alright and nice theme

 

Any reason why the top ad on the right should be removed? Is it too annoying? (You guys are talking about the Lunarpages 468x160 banner, right?)

 

looks pretty good but in my opinion there are too many ads.
