PureStarcraft was just recently bought by myself. Starcraft is still a relatively popular game, attached to Battle.net which has thousands and thousands of plays online at any time.

It's easily brandable because of it's Starcraft relation. Also, with Starcraft II coming out soon -- this domain will probably shoot up with value as people are stocking up on starcraft domains and starting communities to rake in profit.

    What do you think?

It can be developed into a website that allows people to upload and share their Starcraft 2 maps. Since the game hasn't been developed yet, none exists from my knowledge. I'm already working on a system where you can do that, and when the game comes out, all I need to do is update the allowed file types.

it has potential i guess but i think a domain name with something mentioning sc2 would do alot better.

the map idea is great, add in a forum and your destined for success.

im a big SC fan and i can't wait for sc2 so if you need help with something, i may be interested!

its gonna be HUGE on release and for many years after im sure!

    An incredibly stupid post.

There are tons of Starcraft fansites, and Starcraft 2 enthusiast websites.
Blizzard even provides a fansite kit for public download.

Learn your legal information before you post such incredible ignorance.

It does infringe on trademark, but whether or not the trademark owners will do anything about it is a separate issue. Trademark issues aside I would say reg fee on the domain, there are plenty of random word followed by starcraft names available.

A legal terms and rights of use is included in the pack.
Trademarks is absolutely not an issue.
