    I just checked my site at iwebtool. One shows PR4, another server shows PR3, another shows PR 0. All for same domain. Don't think it is reliable.

    I have observed PR update but for only 1 website.

    So, There is PR update but for very small sample of sites. That's why majority say it 'false alarm' but its not. :)
