How can I market a Social network?

    I would like to know, how to market a social network? We have specific target which is Arabian Community. I would like to know where to start? how can I bring in some traffic? and more...

    You could do that at the forums that are specific to that community.
    Also I know there are some good popular blogs from that region. You could get some paid reviews from them, that would give you a initial boost.

    You could try to market your social network in local college.
    And once you get some success, you can hire a PR agency.

    Facebook had a good success doing it this way...
    In Poland, nasza-klasa.pl is very big success and was promoted in a similar way.

    The best advice I can give you is to market a social network in other social networks. letting all your friends to join you in your other network. you can also solicit other members and post to their board

    you build up to a certain level and than implement these strategies once you have good sized community.

    Google adwords
    Paid Reviews
    Try MeetUp.com see if there is a community there you can introduce your networking site too.

    Adwords works quite well, and won't cost much for your niche. From the members you get through Adwords the viral effect will spread your message very fast.

    I would just set up your own profile (if you dont it wont ever work) Invite all your friends and family. Stay active on it with the people that do sign up.
    Get a sig link in other social forums for your niche.
    I would also suggest getting a new header made. That one is kinda sloppy.
    Also the about us just talks about dolphin, change that. Same with the FAQ's
