If you have a landline number at your residence, then just attach the following with your SBI Card Application (in lieu of the normal documentation): The latest bi-monthly or monthly bill issued (the bill should not be more than 75 days old) by the basic telephony provider for the residence landline number furnished in the application form. The bill amount should be Rs. 1500/- or above If the residence and office address is the same, then the bill amount should be Rs. 3000/- and above

If your dad has a credit card you can ask him to get an additional card in your name. This doesnt require any documents or eligibility except it has to be applied by the main card holder and only for immediate relatives like children, spouse, parents Or if you got Rs 20000 to deposit for two years you can get a secured credit card from AxisBank. In this axix bank CC whether the money(CC Balance) would be deducted from this initial deposit or we have to pay that too and the 20k deposit will remain there for ever as a security.
Citibank also offering credit card without documents. You have to get a Income Tax PAN code though. That deposit is for two years fixed term deposit which earns an interest. Obviously if you disappear without paying up the credit card dues they will deduct it from the deposit. That is why it is known as secured credit card. On applying they will ask you to sign a letter of lien and letter of pledge which authorises them to close the deposit and take the money. Basically it means you are pledging the deposit as security just like how you pledge any other asset as colateral security for a bank loan.

they dont need income proof. many women shopping in big bazzar got credit card and they have no job. they shop with the card and earn discount.
