    Hi

    I have had my site uklivefootballresults for about 3 months & built it from 0 i chack my backlinks every sunday to see how i'm doing. I was going great up to 3 weeks ago & got to 3,800 but since then it had slowly dropped even though i am still doing directories now & then & other stuff. Can anyone let me know why this happens & am i doing anything wrong or is this normal thanks..

    Where u check your links?I sugest to check them through yahoo.If u check them from there and u saw a big drop is because yahoo sometimes update his index.

    Check with yahoo site explorer. Its likely those other sites you use simply query yahoo, and if yahoo denies their request you will not see the correct amount.

    and coming to point google not only index the content but it also delete the waste so may be ur link got removed like that
