The thing is I've notice I get better conversions vs Yahoo for example my stuff will convert like 2 percent higher on Adwords then what it does through Yahoo, but then again I'm still testing. Also if your the guy that created speed PPC I bought your software I heard about it from Amit Metha
adwords is getting a bit pricey. how long will they stay above the rest? dont know. the only reason I continue to advertise with yahoo is the pricing. but i admit that conversion between them is still 30% yahoo vs 70% goog.
I have been using Pay Per Click for over 4 years. I have found that Yahoo Search Marketing will generally cost you less but it does not always mean you will get fewer conversions. Google on the other hand can cost almost double but again I have had a test case where conversions were much lower. The general rule is that Google will cost you more and Yahoo is much cheaper. I would recommend that new businesses start with Yahoo Search marketing first and trial run their campaigns before moving into the more competitive Google Adwords PPC system. I have been running campaigns for many clients and have a lot of experience in the PPC field. I have recently launched a website offering PPC consultancy for anyone who may be confused about what to do next, or wants to improve their current Yahoo and Google campaigns. My vote is for MSN adCenter. Just kidding. GAW is my main breadwinner and therefore gets most of my time. If I can quickly and easily get the same campaign onto Yahoo, I do it - but with the understanding that it simply isn't a priority. Compared to the revenue and ROI I can get from AdWords, nothing comes close.
r there some specific niche which work better on yahoo and other on google. somebody had told me but I've never tried yahoo. Anyone with some exprience on this.
For me it depends, I have one niche atm, yahoo is blowing google away in term of quality and at a fraction of the cost. However, in general Google performs better.
In my experience, Adwords has performed better over time. However, Yahoo is a great tool. I've definitely saved a load of money by first testing all of my campaigns on Yahoo Search Marketing. Then I move the winners over to Adwords.
