nope, no warnings. However today I just recieved the DMCA complaints in my email. So I plan on sending them the copyright information I have registered, as well as my corporate filings. Regardless of the fact that the partnership between us failed I feel I should have the upperhand since I hold the registered copyright.

Similar thing happen to my friend last year.
you should have all the proofs of your communication as my friend lost the cases based on "he has not responded to the issue on time, which he did but via fax or postal mail i think"

anyway do keep the proofs of the postal mails or fax that you send (if any)

    Funny note?

If you communicate with DMCA (or "National Arbitration Forum", who ever is it) via postal or fax them then have the receipts for them.
my friend communicated via postal mail (as he received a big pack of legal notices to his house) but they took his domain claiming he has not responded in time.

Immediately file a Counter-Notice, the person who filed the DMCA then "must" file a lawsuit with the courts within 14 days, if he doesn't your content will be restored. Then the person who filed the DMCA becomes liable for damages due to the removal of your content.

You can get the .pdf to fill out the counter notice from the Chilling Effects website, best of luck.

what kind of complaint is that?A copy right!? Did they report it to google already?Do they right about the complaint? Why don't you ask the complainant if they did report it to google. IF your conclusion is right, maybe its about competition. Maybe its just a significant drop!

It's the Google DMCA case and you have to file the case to reconsider your web , Google actually need a counter notification from you in the hard form , which you will have to fax them . I think someone has made a complaint because of duplicate content and for this google need the counter notification , I might be wrong in this predication ... but the case seems to be like that .
It's an easy process .. just go for it and you will be on safe side .. there is nothing to worry about !

    Regards,

is it some kind of google dance rather than the penalize? maybe give them more time would be a good way out.

Looks like the DMCA was served on his host also, and they pulled the plug on his site.
