My friends website www.peterbrucephotography.com is acting a bit strange in search results for Google. When you do a search in google for "Peter Bruce" it pulls up the result with the following title... Peter Bruce Photography The title should read "San Francisco Wedding Photography & Videography | Fine Wedding Portraits By Peter Bruce" What could be causing google to index his site with the wrong title?
That website doesnt work, so I don't think we can figure it out from here. Maybe google made the name from the domain or something.
The title tag was changed a few weeks ago... It indexed the new description, but not the title for some reason?
Hi its very simple concept When google re-index ur site the title that u have mentioned currently "San Francisco Wedding Photography & Videography | Fine Wedding Portraits By Peter Bruce" would come. Do post ur site in Digg.com or in Articles and some social networking sites so that it would get re-indexed soon with ur titles mentioned ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,, Thanx Google Lover
You must not have read my posting. I changed the description and the titles the same day several weeks ago and the main title is not being indexed but the description is. All the other pages with the new titles and descriptions are being indexed properly that were changed days after the main page. This is only happening to the homepage! Very frustrating!
Obviously, Google has been acting weird lately, so I'm sure that is not helping your cause. I have sites where Google only indexed part of it, then indexed the rest next time it hit it. Strange, but that is par for the course for Google.
That makes more sense to me now. I guess I can just keep building backlinks hoping the spiders give it a complete crawl next time. I thought I was doing something wrong in the coding. Thanks for the info!
