Where to get BETA testers

    Hey guys,

    I need a few hundred U.S. BETA testers with cell phones to do somethings (they're all 100% free- aside from normal text messaging rates) to test out the services my website offers.

    Anyone know where to go about getting them? I need them in at most a week- so I'm trying to see if some company offers something or maybe post a thread here.

    My biggest problem: they have to do it for free... I don't have enough capital to be paying out $xxx-xxxx for BETA testers.

    I should pay them, I know, but I don't have any money to spend on that.

    you dont need to pay beta testers just give them a free copy of the software for life. You may try coding forums for possible beta testers. or create a signup system for beta testers on your site.

    Try in the services forum, just specify you want US only people for beta testing, name your price and see how many fish you land ;)

    Make a thread. Saying BETA testers wanted...then say the terms and how it free etc.
    People will be willing to do it.

    If your service works for Canadian cellphones I could volunteer. I have unlimited texting on my phone, but it's on a canadian network (Telus).

    Aside from that, I'm not really sure if you can't give anything away. Maybe if you can offer all the testers an entry in a draw for a few prizes then you could do something with this, but if you can't give anything out then you'll be hard pressed to find people willing to help.
