I quit my job!

Well... what can I say? It just sucks to live in a 3rd world country. I live in Mexico, and can't wait to get out of here. The jobs are terrible, you work like an animal and they pay you peanuts.
I was working as a credit advisor for a cell phone company. Started work at 9 am, ended at 7pm. 1 hour lunch break.

And my salary was $450 a month. (and that is a "good salary", minimum wage here is about $150 a month for an 8 hour daily shift)

I am now earning an average of $1,200 on the net, and have just partnered with a huge advertising company that will increase my earnings to an estimate of $3,000-$4,000 a month. My friends can't believe it, heck, even my family can't believe it, and they all thought I was crazy when I said I was going to quit my job and stay home all day working on my sites.

But it just feels so damn great when you are working in your pajamas :D

I would love to live in Canada. Although I will soon be getting my British nationality (I'm a mexican right now), I wouldn't like to live in England... I don't know, it just seems like a world away... at least Canada is just up the map :D

I thought you would be earning more than that on the net considering the number of sites I have seen you buying lately.
Congratulations and good luck to you, I hope your earnings increase 10 fold.

    Try Australia........it's a great place to live :) .

Best o' luck Fryman, hope it all works out OK :D England's OK, it's just that the towns & cities are full of perpetually drunken hooligans and house prices are astronomical, especially in the south. Which bit of Canada, east or west?

Just took a look at some real estate in the US and realised a southern Brit could sell up a 2 bed bungalow and swap for a 90 acre Florida horse ranch...

You might want to stay in Mexico. That $1200/month probably earns you a nice living there. Moving would probably make that $1200/month feel like $120/month in some other places. Hmmm...let's see, if I move to Mexico, I could probably live like a wealthy person on what I make from the net. Hmmmmmmmmm.....

Oh, I sure agree with you. That money is a lot here, but almost nothing in another country. However, since I am earning enough to live well I can save quite a lot each month. I want to save all I can and take a nice amount when I leave so I can get established and maybe get hold of a small business, while my sites will still bring in a nice cash flow each month.

The advantage I have is that I am only 31 years old, single and with nothing to loose, so going to another country would be a nice adventure.

Percept, nope. I don't know what the Frynetwork is... but sounds like a good idea, maybe I should create a network...

Dcteam, it all depends on how much time you dedicate to this. It took me about a year, but I spent every single day glued to my computer at least 5 hours learning all I could about SEO. I started out without even knowing how to open my Frontpage program, and I still have a very tiny idea of webdesign and no clue about php, SEO has been my salvation. And also follow the golden rule: don't quit. I have bumped into 1000 walls, but you should always try again untill you find that hidden way that will take you to income land :)

Fryman, I thought you were 18 the way you were talking about living with your family or something like that. How much do you have to pay in taxes down there in Mexico?

Anyways, keep up the good work.
