I'm needing a bit of help in improving the ROI for my arcade website:

Can you tell me what works and what doesn't? Thank you!

 

Good logo, good navbar, and then it's just another arcade game site. Find a way to make it stand out from the crowd in terms of design imho

Might I ask what you mean by that?

 

LOL when you hurt your thumb, you tend to it because it hurts ( basically it's different than the other fingers, they don't hurt)


Get your site to stick out, you'll succeed. Be the wolf in the heard of sheep ;-)

 

Hm. What would make it look different, then? I'm trying to think of ideas.... (and I also don't have a lot of ads, if you've noticed).

 

I added a "featured games" section and a few other extras (AJAX star rating - w00t!). How does it look? Your advice is appreciated...

 

honestly your site looks good and has good content..
you dont have much ads up.. idk y.. but you should have them on top of the games and by the featured game should have one

 

I'm not a big fan of ads, but you bring up a good point. Where do you guys think would be the best place to put ads, besides on top of the games and by the featured game?

 

At the "playing game page" I think you should have an ad at the top of the right and left column. (200x200 image).
Or at least move the one at the right column a little more up.

I agree I visit lots of these sites and it does just look like the rest but I guess people want to see something familiar but it does need to stand out, are the games exclusive to you? as i see they come from miniclip
