1000 page views and 0 cents

but i just want to know does Google pay for page impressions

i think it doesn't

as i got 1000 page impressions with no clicks on ads and it's still 0 cents

does anyone know why?

 

If the ads are CPM ads then you will earn for 1000 impressions otherwise not.

 

It's not CPM.

Content is key--You either have no valuable content or your ad layout must be horrible.

Adsense mostly run CPC ads but also occasionally serve CPM ads ( you cant exclusive choose to have just CPM), from the stats you are showing it would appear all the ads that have been served on your site have been CPC, so with no clicks you have unfortunately earned nothing.

 

That's CPC ads, not CPM. That's the reason you get $0.

You earn from CPM but unless the page impressions convert I dont think they pay you... I have some of my ad zones in some of my sites which has got impressions with no clicks and they do not make any money for me

 

CPC ads on your site... and no clicks.. that is why you haven't made money... try different ad positions and generating more targeted traffic

 

watch your traffic 1000 views without click there was something wrong

 

I have a forum with 6,500 hits and made 20 cents Gotta love them forums! Most of those hits are from people browsing though. It is very small forum though less than 20 members so far. Started it about 2 months ago.

 

I think your ads not optimize .. for 1000 imp you should get 10 clks at least. because normal rate is 1 clk for 100 imp. but if you have good layout for site then this can be increase
