Got In A Bad Accident Today...

Well I am not trying to get support or anything but just wanted to get it off my chest. I almost died today when I over corrected my mom's truck and went off the road down an embankment at 45MPH and hit a tree with no seat belt.

It sucks now due to I have compressed bones in my spine which I have to go get an MRI this coming up week. Check out the pictures of the truck.

They said I am lucky to be alive and I am real lucky I didn't go through the windshield when I hit the tree at 45mph.

You should wear your set belts next time. Sucks dude! Even though this does not look like a bad accident. I span out of the motorway at 130mph in my mates Z3 and pretty much ended up like this:

Then I walked away from the car and had a cigarette.

Sorry to hear about your accident and your back. Glad to hear your ok for the most part. Back issues suck though. Ive had to see a doctor 5 days a week for the past 3 weeks because of a vertibre thats out of position in my lower back. Hope you get back to normal quick.

mate thats shocking, ive hit a roundabout at just over 100mph spun in mid air four times and landed the other side, (by the way, i was not driving) me and my mate came out of the car without a single scratch. Weird, some crashes look like total wrecks and people should have died whilst other times like my cousins BF came off his bike doing no more than 30mph and died (went over handle bars and bike landed on him).

    Glad your all allright thou...

At least you were in a truck, would have been a fair bit worse if you were in a sports car. Anyway, I hope you feel better and recover soon!

Yeah it could have been worse in my eagle talon.
My mom was like I lost my $15,000 truck but I still have my son.
She told me if in a couple months she sees i learned a lesson she don't care about the truck.

You are lucky you are alive after something like this. I have had a couple friends killed in a car accident where no seat belts were worn, drinking and driving and ran straight into a tree somewhere around these speeds. One of my friends survived, but the other 2 didnt. So in my opinion, your are one lucky person!

Sorry to hear that happened to you. You're very lucky to be alive and posting this. This should be a lesson for every one of us to always wear a seat belt every time!

Every failure teaches us a lesson and it depends on us if we just be sad about the failure or move ahead by learning a lesson.

Hope you have learned something here. Get well soon! :)

I wasn't really speeding. Going 10MPH over the limit like everyone else does.
A big dog ran out in front of me and I went into some sand and didn't grab traction.
