Should Google do us a favour?

Should Google do us a favour and tell us 10 days before every PageRank update when they're going to do it?

I think it'll be a good idea. And the same with Alexa too... What about you guys?

Building links 10 days before the PR update for increasing PR is useless.

I don't think G ever will. Doing so would bring a lot of attention to PR. Instead, they seem to prefer doing smaller, partial updates so most people aren't even sure that it is happening.

No, because it will attract all the MFA site builders who will quickly do stuff to make a quick buck on a site then flip it asap.

Google are trying to keep the quality high of their results, and are doing a good job of it so far. Why fix something that's not broken?

I don't think Google will do such thing. I suggest you don't much worry about PR. Concentrate more on traffic.

Good reasons mentioned above. Google can do what it wants.

PR isn't the most important thing. Building community, traffic, and revenue are much more important.
