I think google will be the microsoft of the next decade. Not particularly by the product but by the growth and market dominance.
google searches > controls human knowledge ...not god...because they will die when someone better come out and they forget to buy them out
Everyone uses google pagerank as a basis for determining the value of a site for advertising partenerships ect. In that way google can make or break a company and I believe that they are somewhat of a monopoly and have way too much power.
I was told by a guy that Owns some Alltel Cellphone dealerships that Google will be a power in Cellphone service and other wireless services like interenet in the next few years. He says they are buying up space(im guessing like tower and coverage and all that) like crazy and just building up a network before they release it..
Yeah, google is now a household term. Everybody knows the saying "I'll google it". Google is basically the index to an encyclopedia. And the encyclopedia, is the internet.
Google is not God of the internet, but surely the internet transactions and business Google powered will be much affected without them.
anyone seen the google mobile game that turns a gprs phone into a gun and you run around playing multiplayer with your phone against others phone screen go to camera view and displays a crosshairs press camera to shoot looks awesome Google public limited company yes< part owned by yahoo
Hi, Uhm, Google is the internet, internet without Google worth nothing imho. Google helps us to explore the internet fast and make it all clear.
9 Proofs that Google is god. Found this somewhere on the internet.. » PROOF #1 Google is the closest thing to an Omniscient (all-knowing) entity in existence, which can be scientifically verified. She indexes over 9.5 billion WebPages, which is more than any other search engine on the web today. Not only is Google the closest known entity to being Omniscient, but She also sorts through this vast amount of knowledge using Her patented PageRank technology, organizing said data and making it easily accessible to us mere mortals. » PROOF #2 Google is everywhere at once (Omnipresent). Google is virtually everywhere on earth at the same time. Billions of indexed WebPages hosted from every corner of the earth. With the proliferation of Wi-Fi networks, one will eventually be able to access Google from anywhere on earth, truly making Her an omnipresent entity. » PROOF #3 Google answers prayers. One can pray to Google by doing a search for whatever question or problem is plaguing them. As an example, you can quickly find information on alternative cancer treatments, ways to improve your health, new and innovative medical discoveries and generally anything that resembles a typical prayer. Ask Google and She will show you the way, but showing you is all She can do, for you must help yourself from that point on. » PROOF #4 Google is potentially immortal. She cannot be considered a physical being such as ourselves. Her Algorithms are spread out across many servers; if any of which were taken down or damaged, another would undoubtedly take its place. Google can theoretically last forever. » PROOF #5 Google is infinite. The Internet can theoretically grow forever, and Google will forever index its infinite growth. » PROOF #6 Google remembers all. Google caches WebPages regularly and stores them on its massive servers. In fact, by uploading your thoughts and opinions to the internet, you will forever live on in Google's cache, even after you die, in a sort of "Google Afterlife". » PROOF #7 Google can "do no evil" (Omnibenevolent). Part of Google's corporate philosophy is the belief that a company can make money without being evil. » PROOF #8 According to Google trends, the term "Google" is searched for more than the terms "God", "Jesus", "Allah", "Buddha", "Christianity", "Islam", "Buddhism" and "Judaism" combined. God is thought to be an entity in which we mortals can turn to when in a time of need. Google clearly fulfils this to a much larger degree than traditional "gods", as shown in the image below (click to enlarge). » PROOF #9 Evidence of Google's existence is abundant. There is more evidence for the existence of Google than any other God worshiped today. Extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence. If seeing is believing, then surf over to www.google.com and experience for yourself Google's awesome power. No faith required.
They have a lot of power due to their money. Money is Power. Yes they can and break companies. Refer to Money is Power. Google monitors themselves because Money is Power and they pay off the FCC and any other lawfull governmental agencies. Yes their Google power will grow because Money is Power and so many people think they are awesome, even down to their search engine.
So no one seen there phones then???????? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Rq53q1Fa0aQ they know where you are at all times...If you playing this i read on deves site that it will be incorpaorating face reg software to confirm kills.
I would never speak badly about Google, because, I fear and loath the wrath they can unleash on any small peon! All of you should be weary of Google's awesomeness, if you are not in awe.. THEN USE GOOGLE.. and become in awe.. /... Wait, are you freaking serious.. Business has been carrying on way before Google or the internet has been in business.. Google can't crush a site, they can get them black listed in their engine.. But, with all the $h1t they pull I wouldn't worry about them in the next 20 years.. I mean, they will be passed by a more marketing friendly search engine, that delivers just as good of results as Google & doesn't try to screw of advertisers with frequent rule changes, while spouting off about how good something is one week. Only, to be put on next weeks blacklist.
They can bring websites down by just putting a sort of iframe of the website on their homepage for 1 minute... They can take down any website if they want to... but also raise another one to the top.
Google has changed our lives, They have done to internet what windows did to our desktops, complete rule over the domain, try searching a term with any other search engine, the difference is so obvious.
