    Hello;
    I'm a new user in digital point forum; I think digital point moderators give infractions for nothing.
    For example if you post "I'm interested" you get an infraction.
    Do you have the same problems?

    guess you made 5 posts and maybe, just maybe, you'll have now 5 infractions... :D just forget about it and move on, everybody gets infractions because of similar stuff: post count/wrong category/etc etc

    try to stay focused in work and not discusing infractions :)

    I would read this thread and try and think what you could have done to earn an infraction and avoid doing it in the future, mods dont give infractions for no reasons and if it's a mistake its usually corrected.

    You should also receive and email with the reasons for your infractions, if its not in your inbox check your junk.

    I think that for some cases those should be overlooked. I mean I have seen people with thousands of good posts and hundreds of itrader get banned for infractions. For newer members yes an infraction should be given out. But not for the same thing over and over again right in a row. I've seen people get 4 infractions in the same topic for "bumping." I think one infraction is more then enough. Infractions are there as warnings. So why do we need to be warned 6 times in a day? One infraction will get us aware of the problem. If the user continues to break the rule day after day then give them another. But there is no reason to just jump on a person for the same rule all at once.

    Either way just read the rules and guidelines and try to follow them the best you can. Ask before doing something you are unsure about. PM people questions in sales threads. I have no infractions so far because I read the rules before posting. Read them now and you should be fine.

    I think infractions are given on a 'per offense' basis, meaning you get one for each bump, a lot of people are fully aware they are breaking the rules when they bun and imo deserve an infraction for each bump.

    Thats just my opinion though

    There's a really easy solution. Don't post at all until you familiarize yourself with the rules. Read all rules, stickies, and announcements in any area where you want to post.

    Your rep and iTrader have no bearing - you're subjected to the same rules as anyone else. If you bump four times, you may very well get 4 infractions. If I saw someone bumping repeatedly I'd probably give them a few infractions, and then an immediate short ban to let it sink in.
