I'll explain what I mean by the title. But I think it's true. Things are much more progressed in the xxx community in the way we do things. I wanted to explain a few things that we might experience in the future.

    1. Free hosts. I noticed that ezine articles takes squidoo, blogspot, etc links. Free hosts are not accepted in the adult world. Only slimy scum link to them and anyone that can send you traffic will not link to them. You have to have your own domain name and hosting. Period. No way around it.

    2. You whois information on your domain name can't be private. Typically spammers and scammers are the ones that have private information typically. They'll get their site accepted and than they'll change it into a banner farm and virii on it, etc. So people have stopped accepting domain names that have private whois information.

That's just a little glimpse into how things run and what I think may end up in the mainstream, so just be aware.

Um....of course...always will be. The most money made on the web is from porn (and water4gas ;) ), so of course they are on top of the game. :)

I'm not (too) ashamed to say I tried that route. Never had any success with it. Obviously a lot of people do... But I think it's hard to promote because there's so much FREE porn available. Plus you're always running into roadblocks. I have had some success with some other non-family friendly things (I don't want to get too into that here...) but again I found that you are always running into roadblocks. I like keeping it family friendly now, I find it easier.

There are actually tons of adult free hosts. Thumblogger is one of the biggest. Free host are normally not accepted on TGPs, but that is not the only way to promote porn. And the reason they are not accepted has to do with bandwidth, not the fact that it is free.

Your whois info can be private. I have private whois on every single porn domain I own and never had a problem anywhere.

I believe that xxx industry is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay to hard especially if you're new to internet marketing. I bet there is more competition than money making and water 4 gas niches on Clickbank together.

I know there are, but no one will link to them because there is no guarantee it will be there tomorrow. All adult sites are required by law not to link to sites that do not have 2557 information readily available. This makes them a legal risk and free hosts are in jeopardy themselves. Plus, the usual scammers, spammers and changers of sites after they've been accepted because it costs nothing to make another.

this is new and it's coming. I've experienced this, not with all link lists and tgps, but with quite a few. It's the wave of the future because you can get pretty cheap domains these days. Getting one sale is typically worth more than a domain, so you can only expect it.

I was thinking some time ago about doing some xxx stuff promotion, because porn, sex, and all other adult content is the most searched thing on the Internet.

But the problem with that stuff is that it's difficult to promote it using normal, legal ways. However, spam and other ways doesn't work well...

If there wasn't such a thing as clickbank, I wouldn't of came into mainstream. If you look at like amazon, commissions are crap. Adult, you make $30-80 commissions, and well, clickbank has that too.

Plus you got all that 2557 information crap to go through. You legally have to buy your content. You just can't steal it. It's funny. When you buy, you also get a picture of the models drivers license and the contract she signed.

It's just a lot of extra work and it just takes some law to pass to completely destroy all your work.
