He mentioned nothing about pagerank. You misunderstood his grammar. Your own sentence is incorrect - "making your site search engine ranking position well for a specific search query" doesn't make any sense whatsoever. Please learn English before you go about bashing people.
LOL, a little harsh, but quite true. He did not misuse the noun "PageRank", he was using "rank" as a verb.
Please do not use Google Bomb techniques to rank your keywords high in Google. Google had difused the 'Google Bomb' and changed its algorithm long back. You can check the article at searchengineland.com/070125-230048.php for more details about Google Bombing.
Google bombing can still work to a certain extent. you cant rank a page that contains none of the terms in your link anchor text any more, but if the page contains part of the phrase youre using in your anchor text, you can still see results, and you dont even need that many links.
There are now about six parts of the algo to specifically limit this, mainly as "Idiot" used to come up with George Bush It is now based very much on invisible factors so idiots can't Google Bomb. I got sued for doing it one in the UK that was in 2004/5
Basically to get by it DONT buy 1000s of links a day spread them out over a month etc and your fine. Just make sure you don't buy thousands of links at once or you will get penalized or banned. FluFF
According to Matt Cutts, a Google Bomb is when a site is ranked for a term for which it did not intend to rank. If you are trying to rank for the term, it's not a Google Bomb. Bompa

Google bombing is just a laugh, A sort of webmasters joke. I fell out with a car dealership, and googlebombed all the negative reviews of the company on thrird party websites. The result was that when you googled this company, instead of the first 5 results being about cars, 2,3, 4, 5,6, were all third parties bitching about them Google bombing does have it's uses. I did it with my debtor of the week also in my sig. It was up there for about six months, but it gradually dies down the serps.
