What do i do? This guy is blackmailing me for $200 because i gave him a job as a forum poster. I had 6 members complain about hes spamming so i banned him, I then had him come on live chat and say if i didnt pay him $200 he would leave me a neg itrader and put on my threads i was a scammer. I really dont know what to do i like digitalpoint and now everyone thinks im some con artist.

Please advice me what to do.

looks like they already gave you that neg iTrader and you returned the favor.
just move on till they start posting about you, then report it to a mod.

Dont worry about it. Things happen. Next time keep a few posts for proof to copy and paste the thread or post of posting to prove to others how terrible of a poster they were.

Next time be sure to state in your OP certain requirements.

    1. of them being if you determine the posts to be spammy you have the right to not pay.
    2. As well that the posters english must be fluent(in writing at least).
    3. Time requirement when the posts must be done.
    4. Specify how many threads and how many posts.
    5. Where and where not to post.
    6. And for future reference, state payment timing. That the payout is every $10.00. Keeps everyone happy. And stick to this one. It would be less of a loss on both sides - time and money.
    I had 1 or 2 more - I will remember later.

This has happened to me before. I did the exact same thing you did, hired forum posters to post on my new site, and someone had been posting horrible comments, spamming everything up, and I banned him from that site. He contacted me and was pretty upset, and I told him I wasn't going to pay him, but you know what? I paid him because he threatened me with a negative itrader. I didnt want that, so I ended up paying him. At least it wasn't much though, not near $200. This happens, and you just have to move on. One bad itrader wont hurt. Just make sure now you hire people with positive itraders, good posts, and reps. This will help!

Hmmm......1 iTrader versus $200 and a spammed forum. Which is worse? You really need not to pay for a terrible service.

I ran 2 paid posting services and I fired the people when I spotted spammy posts after a few. If anything I did compensate but it was at an extremely low payment. Something like 1 to 10% of the original payment. Never let anything go beyond the first few spammy posts, hence business complaints.

Lol, this is why I just stick to $1.00 offers for paid postings. If I really like the paid poster, I'll let him/her know that the work can be continued. If the paid poster sucked, I just fish out the $1.00 and move on.

Nobody's gonna remove the negative itrader, once it's there, it will remain. That's also why Shawn has 2 of them as well

You only have 77 posts lol. I wouldnt worry about it.

Your account is no where near worth $200 so if you get banned for it its not going to be too much trouble.

Yeap and he can definitely remove them, but letting them stay there, you should know what he is trying to convey to the rest of us. Also transactions between members are private trading, the mods will not interfere. You have done your part by leaving him a -ve itrader and do heed the advice of others, move on.

A good balance of iTrader and small green dots is good. You should get going writing some more posts
