    Hiiiii DP,

    Replication of site link…….!!!!!

Since we are submitting site in different domain name but they may be in the same IP. This is same as submitting links multiply in the same directory. So the search Engines consider as these links as ONE….

Knowing an IP Address is an important thing while we are submitting our link to directories… Bcz the same IP can hold different Domain name!!!!

So before going to submit a link to directory, check the IP address of the Domain…We can find out site information like Domain Name, IP Address, IP Location, etc…. By using this url ->http://www.whois.ws/

    Suggestions are appreciated :)

Not worth the trouble of going through individual check for each domain, there are millions of IP addresses, and two or three links from the same IP address won't hurt your site.

If that was the case then signature links in forums such as DP would be killing sites! Think about it...

It is cross linking that you should beware of, having all your sites on the same server, and linking extensively between them.

i'm NOT telling about 1 or 2 links........

100s of links..... it may happen!!!!! if you are submitting to directories from a "directory list". May be same IP... that is i'm taking about!!!

You've still got it wrong though. Even though those sites may be on the same IP address, if they're not linking to each other (link farm anyone?) and otherwise just minding their own business doing their own thing, they'll be fine.

Sorry, I haven't had a lot of sleep lately. Been VERY busy with work the past couple of weeks.

In this case, I woudn't even bother submitting to those directories simply because THEY are on the same server, and are likely just being used to forward PageRank to other directories via 301 redirects when they start to go sour.

You might want to read this - it literally opened my eyes the first time I did. http://www.websitepublisher.net/blog/2008/03/08/how-i-do-directory-submissions/

Dan Schulz said it right. Keep on building links. Just don't give link away to bad sites and avoid farms etc. thats it.
