HELP!! Which design?

Which design looks better, http://meth-kills.com/ or http://meth-kills.com/methkills.aspx ??

I like the first one because it looks less like a blog and more like an informational website. The color scheme is also easier to read, too.

 

I agree with xanadu I think the first blog looks better however, I think you should consider
changing the color scheme. A dark background makes it difficult to read the text on the page,
you should consider using a different background color.

 

If you unjustify the content in the second one I could be bribed to like that one more. Their are a lot of format issues in the first one, though it looks more modern.

 

I like the first one compared to the second one. Simply because the send one is so wide for me...

 

I disagree.

Though the skull sends a stronger message, the design looks more comforting having soft colors like blue and white. Yet the second design looks more threatening.. In my opinion, the best design would be the first one with a color scheme change (maybe just use hue - saturation, with all the images to make them red or orange)

Just my idea.

I'd go for the first one, it's easier to read. The text in the second one seems too 'squished up', with too much black space on either side.

Re the strength of the message, I think the white text on black background does that, as it's quite an unusual format to use these days, and the skull and cross bones is the icing on the cake in that respect!

Personally, I prefer the first one it is good that you made it simple but still appealing. keep it that way.
