With 7867 Impression getting only 10 clicks... Need Help

Hey guys... can someone let me know how can i increase my CTR. would u suggest to change my theme or what? I m really disappointed with the clicks i m getting with gud traffic.

Yesterday Google impressions were = 7867
and got click = 10

Those are pretty nice impressions, I think your placement is too ordinary, you definitely need to tweak your ad placement, try taking out one of those ad block and put them under your menu.

 

U mean i should put 768x90 ads banner under menu on top of all posts....hmmm....well i will try.... but i think it may not help alot. any more suggestions... superotang i m going to put an ads there.... let see how it goes...

You will have to blend your ads very well, you can't just throw two ads on the sidebar and hope for high clicks.

Check out Joel's site, the ads looks like his menu, and his second ad looks like part of the content. Keep tweaking because you already have pretty good traffic.

You can try something like this.

The ads will be relevant to your site and cause it to look like menu links.

 

hmmm.... U have a point. yeah i need to work on it... BTW ads on familyfirst.com are best. u never know there is any ads on page without having a 2nd look....Agree with you.

Does most of your traffic come from social bookmarking sites like Digg? These people never click ads, no matter how you tweak them...

 

Put 2 squares on top of your first post.

 

You need to optimize your ads.
Try a Text Adblock instead of the image ad just above right sidebar.

 

yeah... most of traffic is coming from SB sites.... especially Digg....but i dont agree with you that these ppl dont click on ads. My main source of marketing is always been SB sites and i m always enjoying gud income from them...

You don't agree with bingokid because you usually convert social traffic. Sorry but that is BS.

You're not going to make money by trying to convert social traffic to clicking Adsense. You'll need sick traffic to get a sizeable number of clicks and then your Adsense account will be smartpriced because the traffic you are sending advertisers will convert horribly.

If you want to make good money from adsense your traffic should predominantly come from the search engines.

Well,,, I agree with you that search engine brings alot of traffic and they usually bring income as well..... but i think u need to have popular niche for that as u may have noticed this is very new website so i think it will take approximately 1/2 months to get indexed on first page of google.....

It Means i have to wait for 2more months
