Preferably ones that get updated enough, and could suit services reviews and not just product reviews. Also if you know of paid WP plugins for this purpose or did you get one coded for yourself, if so did it cost much? thanks for your help.
Thanks for the offer, ive already found a solution. I was in two minds over what i needed first, a review plugin that allows others to review a product, or one where i review a product or service myself only. I decided on one that i review the product/service only.

As I've said on other similar threads, I've recently started using WFReview, which is a fantastic Wordpress Review Plugin. I did a lot of research with the other plugins offered, but the main thing that got me with WFReview is the support. Their member forum questions are answered promptly, and they are very willing to make updates and changes as users request them. It's pretty cheap in my opinion for what you get.
