    My plan is to create 150 blogs in wordpress and blogger to build links to my site. What do you think? will it work?

    Concentrate on quality and not quantity :) If these are new blogs without much content then a backlink from them is not really worth it.. But if you can manage all 150 blogs and update them with unique quality content then over the time these would be good backlinks for you..

    You will be left with backlinks from low quality sites. These will all still count. You would be better building 10 really good sites that themselves might gain PR and keep them on the topic of your main site.

    Alternatively find do follow blogs that are in your niche and comment on those.

    sooner or later they will be marked as splog and removed from index...all that hard work would be worthless
