I manage a few photoblogs and my bandwidth consumption is pretty high.

Can you guys suggest a reasonable photo hosting site that gives unmetered bandwidth with good storage space.

I am planning to go with PhotoBucket.com ($25 a year), but the 5 GB upload limit is not something that I am content with.

    Any suggestions?

There is no better place to host your pictures than your own hosting service, but you need to work hard to find the best hosting deals or getting your own VPS or dedicated server.

Actually sites like Servage, Dreamhost and others provide you with huge bandwidth and webspace resources for prices below $7 USD per month.

VPS and dedicated servers are beyond my budget for these sites

I do have a 3000 GB monthly transfer but my site still goes down on days when I see a huge peak in traffic, thanks to digg and SU

Imageshack is easy, but slow.. As mentioned above, your own server is the best.

I would suggest to everyone the imagevenue.com
I have been using them on the free account.
There is also to upload through ftp your images.
You can create folders and you can assign 200 images per folder.

It's worth to give it a try mates.
