Thats really sad. He was the funniest man on earth no joke. Not sure if any of you have seen his stand up comedy.

"what do you have to be depressed about? Did Banna Republic run out of khakis :p"

I'm really going to miss him.

I was very surprised (and saddened) to hear about it this morning.

RIP George - you were one of the best.

I loved George Carlin. He was my dad's favorite and I have many fond memories of laughing with my dad about Carlin's latest skit. Sad, sad day today.....

I caught his act in Vegas and it was hands down the best stand up comedy show I've ever seen. He was one of a kind.

Carlin was a liberal idealogue. He was a comic genius but his political views were often silly.

I've been out of the loop for the past week (no internet at my new house)... and this is the news that greets me when I finally get online :(

I watched a couple of George Carlin DVDs just a few nights ago. Any comedian that can make an audience laugh AND think simultaneously is worth their weight in gold.

    G.C RIP.
