A new way to get and keep track of static one way links for Free - OneWayTextLink.com

I am launching a free tool called http://www.onewaytextlink.com and would like to let DP members try out the site first.

The purpose of the site is to keep track of all of the directories you have submitted your site to.

    The site has two lists:

List 1. Websites/directories that offer a free one way text link

List 2. Websites/directories that offer paid one way links.

When you become a member, you can mark which websites you have submitted your website to, along with the date you submitted and what anchor text you submitted to them. You can then easily see which directories you have submitted to.

This is a great way to build your link popularity and keep track of your link building program. (I use it on all of my sites)

Membership is 100% FREE. - I was going to try a paid membership model but because the site is new and because I want to build credibility in the site I am making the site membership free.

Also, since the site is new I am counting on you guys to let me know how it works out for you and any other features you might want to see.

Please let me have any comments/bugs by PM or post back in this thread.

Nice tool - really nice !

Think I have found a bug. For some reason everytime I login and when I move between pages it forces me to change my password.

    Am using firefox 1.5.02

Tried with IE and it was fine.

    Are you able to replicate?

BTW - can I manage multiple sites from one account ?

Tried again a hour later - seems to work ok now, couldn't repeat the problem.

The wind must have changed :)

Still would like to manage multiple sites from one login - is this possible ?

    Regards
    Brian

I am working with my programmer to add the functionality of managing multiple websites with one account but for the time being you would just have to register for each website you want to manage.

Thanks for the feedback. Im glad you like it. I put together the list of PR right before the update so alot of them could be different. If you have an updated list that would be great.

I will let you know when i have updated the list, i am going to use that list for my sites so that is why i want to update it.

Most people dont want to submit to sites withouth PR, some of those had lost their pr i saw when checking the first 100 and some more got PR6 to :)

I have some ideas that would help you out a lot with the site in several ways. I will give them to you for free. You can thank me with a link somewhere once it gets very popular unless you forget me. :)

    1) Make or get made a Firefox extension that has a login association with your site. The extension will offer a button you can click when you are on a site to mark the site as submitted. There should be a profile mechanism (I suggest a drop down list beside the button or similar) so that people who have more than one site (I have 30 links I submit, for example) can switch between them and mark which one has been submitted quickly and easily.

    2) Get a Firefox sidebar made. This sidebar should connect in with your web site and show the site list. It needs to be well formatted so that it fits in the sidebar well. This will get you very good traffic to your site.

    3) If you have some service or other site you want to advertise, put it as a small link at the top of the page the sidebar links.

    4) Submit the Firefox extension to all the many Firefox resources. That will get you more users for your site, more traffic to your site, more links back to your site, and more.

Don't wait too long or I will do it myself. One of these days I might release my Firefox directory submitter extension. If I do, I would include all of this built into it so that it would automatically have a hook in with the profiles there. It would work very nicely in that way. Good luck. Don't forget me. :)

I signed up and starting working with it a couple days ago. Not bad. But a number of those directories are not one-way links; they require reciprocal links. www.link-pimp.com is the latest I encountered. Another half dozen I previously discovered but didn't make a note of. And a couple are not free. Maybe they changed since you put the list together.
