I know in most of the companies in US/UK and all, payment is based on hours.
People get paid $$/hr for there works.

But I can't understand it in whole .

Each user have there own working speed and all.So how the payment is done ?

Can anyone clarify my doubts ?

Well the people who work hard get a raise so they make more $ an hour then the people who don't work as hard. How would you think it works?

If you are confident what you are doing then go ahead. But I think people from UK/US wants todo outsource coz they want a package price inside their budget. So, till you are working for individual people, go for package price.

Good question, I think those having slow speed consider look for work on project basis.

Hourly basis an help to bind people to your company. I usually pay programmers that way ; this will give them the feeling that I respect their own working style and usually makes them work harder. If not; fired :)
